We are a people of the Kingdom of God, meaning everything we do comes from a place of remembering Jesus' words and work that "The kingdom of God is at hand." We want to see God get His way in every part of our lives and community!
Who WE ARE
Our Faith Statement
The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We trust the Scripture to guide our lives, our practices, and our mission.
We are charged in Scripture with the task of communicating this unchanging truth to an ever-changing culture. We remain faithful to the Truth of God and the historic doctrines and beliefs of Christianity while inviting the Holy Spirit to apply these truths as He leads us.
As a part of the Vineyard Movement of Churches, our Statement of Faith is based on "the conviction that the kingdom of God is the central theological motif that gives definition to all that we believe." It is a “kingdom of God” centered theology. This statement is our best current understanding of the Bible from that kingdom perspective." You can discover more about our Movement at VineyardUSA.org.
Ministry leadership
The staff and leadership at North Beach Vineyard Church is comprised of men and women who are passionate in their pursuit of God and sense a call to serve and lead the local church. They love, pray for, and seek ways to serve our church and community. If you have any questions for any of our staff, feel free to email them to connect.
Chip and Katie Holt
Chip and Katie have been in ministry together since 2005 when they met on a worship team in Northern Virginia. In 2010 they moved to the Grand Strand and both stepped into vocational ministry. After joining the staff of Seacoast Vineyard, they realized the Vineyard Movement was "home."
During their eight years at Seacoast, they continued to seek the Lord for next steps, believing church planting was part of their future and holding their calling with open hands for the Lord to lead.
In 2019 Katie was given the opportunity to step into a worship leadership role at Waterbrook Church, and in 2020 Chip was invited into a pastoral role at Renovation Vineyard. At the same time, Katie continued at Waterbrook on the weekends but ran the office of Renovation during the week. During the next 2.5 years, the call to plant continued to stir and they believed something new was about to be birthed.
North Beach Vineyard launched in April of 2023 and through a series of unforeseen events, that call to leadership came much sooner than either of them could have predicted when the lead pastor had to medically retire. Katie still remembers that night they got the call as she responded, "This is it."
Today, Chip is the Lead Pastor, and Katie is the Executive Pastor. They have a heart to see God's Kingdom come and will be done on the Grand Strand as it is in Heaven, and they are grateful for the opportunity to serve the community through North Beach Vineyard.
